Important before you buy: attachment compatibility. The Airwrap and Airwrap i.d. share cross-compatible attachments. The Airwrap Co-anda2x is a different generation with a different connector — its attachments are smaller and will not fit any previous Airwrap, and original Airwrap attachments will not fit the Co-anda2x. Airwrap Complete / Complete Long - the full range for most hair types: includes the complete set of barrels and brushes covering straight, wavy, and curly styles across different hair lengths. The Complete Long adds longer barrels suited to chest-length hair or below. If you want one tool that handles multiple styles for your hair type without buying attachments separately, this is the strongest all-round choice in the standard Airwrap range.

Airwrap i.d. - personalized styling via the app: the i.d. adds Bluetooth connectivity and a hair profile in the MyDyson app that tailors the machine's heat and airflow settings to your specific hair type and goals. The app creates a personalized styling routine and guides you through it step by step. Uses the same V9 motor as the standard Airwrap. Best for anyone who wants a guided, consistent styling result without manually adjusting settings each session.

Airwrap Co-anda2x - maximum performance, new generation: powered by Dyson's Hyperdymium 2 motor delivering twice the air pressure of the previous generation, the Co-anda2x dries hair as fast as a full performance hair dryer - significantly faster than any earlier Airwrap. The body is smaller and lighter than previous versions for improved handling. Intelligent attachments automatically adjust heat and airflow and remember your preferences. App connectivity is included. This is the most capable Airwrap made. Note that its attachments are not compatible with any previous Airwrap, and vice versa.

What "refurbished" means for Dyson Airwrap stylers

A refurbished Dyson Airwrap is a previously owned machine that has been returned, inspected, and restored to full working order. The motor, Coanda airflow system, heating element, and all controls are tested before dispatch.

Three things matter most on a refurbished Airwrap. First, filter condition. The Airwrap has a filter at the base that requires monthly cleaning. A blocked filter directly reduces the air pressure available to create the Coanda effect, which is the machine's core styling mechanism. Reduced airflow means reduced wrapping performance. Loop checks and cleans the filter during refurbishment. Second, attachments. Individual Airwrap barrels and brushes cost $50–70 each to replace and are the most commonly missing items on a returned unit. The attachments included with any refurbished machine are listed explicitly on the product page. Check before buying, especially if a specific barrel size or brush type is important for your hair. Third, barrel and brush condition. The barrel surfaces and brush bristles are inspected for wear that could affect hair grip or heat distribution, and noted on the listing where relevant.
